2024-2027 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Carbon Fiber Exterior Kit (E-Ray) - Coupe

The all-wheel-drive hybrid Corvette, and like the Stingray it exits its exhaust at the corners. That is why this kit carries FRL-C8SERD, the corner-exit diffuser, rather than the center-exit piece the Z06 needs. Nine pieces, front to back, in one order. Prefer to build in stages? Every piece is also sold on its own.

Fits the 2024-2027 Chevrolet Corvette C8 E-Ray Coupe only. Does not fit Convertible models — the engine hatch vents, lower engine hatch trim and rear camera cover are Coupe-only parts.

The kit photo shows the Z06 version; the E-Ray kit ships with the corner-exit diffuser.

Ordered as a kit, these cost about $1,300 less than buying them one at a time in Standard Gloss, and every finish upgrade costs less inside the kit than outside it.

Two Optional Add-Ons

Both default to No — the kit above is complete on its own. Add either, or both, at the top of this page and the price updates for the finish you have chosen:

• Rear Low Wing w/ Winglets — the carbon replacement for your factory low spoiler, supplied with the wicker bill winglets already fitted. Cheaper inside the kit than bought on its own.
• Z07 Dive Planes — canards for the front corners. Worth adding if you want the Z07 look. Also cheaper inside the kit. The Z07 package is a Z06 option, so on an E-Ray plan on your installer creating the mounting points.

What Makes This the E-Ray Kit

Eight of these nine pieces are the same as the Z06 kit. The ninth is the diffuser, and it is the reason you cannot swap between the two: the E-Ray exits its exhaust at the corners, so it takes the standard diffuser rather than the Z06's center-exit cut. If you are cross-shopping the two kits, that single part is the whole difference.

Driving a Convertible? The E-Ray Convertible kit swaps the coupe-only parts for their Convertible equivalents. Everything built for this trim is in the Corvette C8 E-Ray collection.

The Process Behind Nine Parts

Carbon counts as dry when the resin is impregnated into the cloth beforehand at a set ratio, rather than added at the bench during layup. The plies are then cured under heat and pressure in an autoclave, which consolidates the laminate and pushes out trapped air — the air that turns into pinholes and dull patches on a finished panel. Processes that wet the cloth at the mold fix that ratio by hand instead.

Nine parts is the whole length of the car: nose, flanks, deck. All nine are cured the same way, in the finish you choose.
