Shipping Policy

At Feral Auto, we are committed to getting your order to you safely. Please review our shipping policy below for full details on lead times, delivery, and damage claims.

Free Shipping

Feral Auto offers free standard shipping on all orders delivered within the 48 contiguous United States. There are no minimum purchase requirements and no hidden handling fees — the price you see at checkout is the price you pay.

Shipping Destinations

Free standard shipping applies to the 48 contiguous United States, and those orders can be placed directly through our website.

We also ship to the destinations below, by quote. Free shipping does not apply to these destinations, and they cannot be completed through normal website checkout:

  • Alaska
  • Hawaii
  • U.S. territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, etc.)
  • APO/FPO/DPO military addresses
  • International destinations

To order to any of these destinations, contact us at sales@feralauto.com or through our Contact Us page before placing your order, with the part you want and your full delivery address. We will quote the shipping cost and arrange your order directly. Quoted shipping is charged in addition to the product price and is due before your order is accepted.

For international orders, any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees and other charges levied by the destination country are the customer's responsibility and are not included in a shipping quote.

P.O. Boxes: smaller items can usually be delivered to a P.O. Box, but freight shipments cannot — larger items require a street address where a carrier can make a curbside delivery.

How Long Your Order Takes

There are two separate stages to any order, and it helps to think about them separately.

Stage 1 — getting your part ready to ship. If the part you ordered is in stock, we prepare it for shipment within 1–3 business days of your order (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays). If it is not in stock, the lead time shown on the product page applies — currently 5 to 15 weeks, and 11–13 weeks for most parts. This is an estimate driven by demand, and orders frequently ship sooner.

Stage 2 — getting it to your door. Once your order leaves our facility, most shipments arrive within 3–7 business days. Larger items shipped via freight carrier may take 5–10 business days and require a delivery appointment.

So a part held in stock typically reaches you inside two weeks, while a part we do not currently hold in stock ships after its lead time, plus transit time on top.

You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information as soon as your order ships. If you would like the current status of a part that is not in stock, contact us at sales@feralauto.com with your order number and we will check on it for you.

Please note: transit times are estimates provided by our carriers and are not guaranteed. Weather, carrier delays, and other factors outside our control may affect them.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive an email containing a tracking number and a link to track your shipment. If you have not received tracking information within 5 business days of your order shipping, please reach out through our Contact Us page.

Shipping Address Accuracy

It is the customer's responsibility to provide a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Feral Auto is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the customer may be responsible for additional reshipment fees.

If you notice an error in your shipping address, please contact us immediately through our Contact Us page. We will do our best to update the address before the order ships, but we cannot guarantee changes once an order has been processed.

Inspection Upon Delivery

We strongly recommend that all customers inspect their package and product immediately upon delivery, before signing for the shipment whenever possible. Carefully check for:

  • Visible damage to the outer packaging (tears, crushing, punctures, water damage)
  • Damage to the product itself
  • Missing items
  • Incorrect items

If damage is visible at the time of delivery, you must note it on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing. Signing the delivery receipt without noting visible damage makes a damage claim significantly harder to pursue with the carrier.

Shipping Damage Claims

We meticulously package every product to prevent damage during transit. In the rare case that a product arrives damaged, we will make it right — please follow the steps below so we can process your claim.

Reporting Damage

  • Damage must be reported to Feral Auto within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Submit your report through our Contact Us page or by email to sales@feralauto.com, with your order number, photographs of the damaged packaging, photographs of the damaged product, and a brief description of the damage.
  • Damage discovered or reported after the 24-hour window is not eligible for a claim.

Preserving Evidence

  • Retain all original packaging materials, including the box, padding, and any inserts.
  • Keep the damaged product in the condition in which it was received.
  • The carrier may need to inspect the packaging and product as part of the claims process.
  • Discarding packaging or returning the shipment without prior written approval from Feral Auto may result in the rejection of your damage claim.

Claim Resolution

Once your claim is reviewed and approved, Feral Auto will replace the damaged product. Transit damage is resolved by replacement, not by refund. If we no longer offer the product and cannot replace it, we will instead refund the amount you paid for it or issue store credit, at our option. Where a replacement part must be produced, the production lead time described above applies. The replacement value will not exceed the amount you paid for the product.

Lost or Stolen Packages

If your tracking information indicates that a package was delivered but you did not receive it, please:

  1. Check with neighbors, building managers, or other members of your household.
  2. Contact the shipping carrier directly to file a missing package report.
  3. Notify Feral Auto through our Contact Us page within 7 days of the recorded delivery date.

Feral Auto is not responsible for packages recorded as delivered by the carrier and subsequently reported missing or stolen. We will, however, do our best to assist you in working with the carrier to locate your package.

Refused or Undeliverable Shipments

If a shipment is refused at delivery, returned due to repeated failed delivery attempts, or returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, the customer will be responsible for any return shipping fees and reshipment costs. Refunds for refused shipments will be processed minus the original shipping cost incurred by Feral Auto.

Freight Shipments (Large Items)

Larger items may ship via freight carrier and require special handling:

  • The carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment.
  • Someone 18 years or older must be present to receive and sign for the delivery.
  • Curbside delivery is standard; the driver is not required to bring the item inside your home or garage.
  • Always inspect freight shipments thoroughly before signing the delivery receipt. Note any damage on the receipt before the driver leaves.
