The C8's quarter panel door handle doubles as the side scoop feeding the engine — one of the most distinctive details on the Z06, E-Ray, and Grand Sport, and one of the few places carbon reads as functional rather than decorative.
This is a direct replacement, not a modification. The scoops mount to the factory quarter panel locations using your existing hardware — nothing to drill, nothing to cut, nothing permanent. No additional hardware is included, and none is required.
Built from autoclaved 2x2 pre-preg dry carbon fiber and sold as a pair, driver and passenger side, finished together so the weave matches across the car.
Fits the 2023-2027 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06, 2024-2027 E-Ray and 2027 Grand Sport, Coupe and Convertible.
A Handle That Is Also an Intake
On a mid-engine car the air has to get in behind the cabin, and on the C8 that duct runs straight through the piece you grab to open the door. It is the rare exterior part that is doing two jobs at once, which is why replacing it in carbon reads differently from a trim panel — the shape was always functional, the material just catches up with it.
Practically, that also means it is the most-touched carbon part on the car. Every time someone opens a door they put a hand on it, and it sits exactly where door edges, belt buckles and shopping bags find it in a tight parking space. A consolidated laminate with a hard, even clear coat is what keeps that from showing after a year.
Runs with the Carbon Fiber Side Skirts down the flanks, and is a standard part in the Z06, E-Ray and Grand Sport Exterior Kits.
Fits three trims — browse the Z06, E-Ray and Grand Sport collections for the rest of the range.
Why Autoclave Pre-Preg Dry Carbon Fiber
Pre-preg carbon arrives with the resin already impregnated into the weave at a controlled ratio, so no resin is added by hand during layup — that is what makes it dry carbon. Curing it under heat and pressure in an autoclave consolidates the laminate and drives out trapped air that would otherwise show as flaws in the finished surface. Other processes introduce the resin at the mold, so the ratio is set during layup rather than before it.
This part sits right where hands, door edges and shopping bags find it. A deep compound scoop shape is also the kind of geometry where a hand-laid part shows every inconsistency in the laminate at the transitions.
