2023-2027 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Carbon Fiber Exterior Kit (Z06) - Coupe

The Z06 gets a rear end the rest of the C8 line does not. Its exhaust exits through the center, so the diffuser has to be cut around it — which is why this kit carries the Z06 diffuser rather than the corner-exit piece the Stingray and E-Ray share. Nine pieces, nose to tail, in one order. Prefer to build in stages? Every piece is also sold on its own.

Fits the 2023-2027 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06 Coupe only. Does not fit Convertible models — the engine hatch vents, lower engine hatch trim and rear camera cover are Coupe-only parts.

Ordered as a kit, these cost about $1,300 less than buying them one at a time in Standard Gloss, and every finish upgrade costs less inside the kit than outside it.

Two Optional Add-Ons

Both default to No — the kit above is complete on its own. Add either, or both, at the top of this page and the price updates for the finish you have chosen:

• Rear Low Wing w/ Winglets — the carbon replacement for your factory low spoiler, supplied with the wicker bill winglets already fitted. Cheaper inside the kit than bought on its own.
• Z07 Dive Planes — canards for the front corners. Worth adding if you already run a high wing, or if you want the Z07 look without changing the wing at all. Also cheaper inside the kit. Designed around the factory Z07 mounting points, so a standard front bumper may need modification.

What Makes This the Z06 Kit

Eight of these nine pieces are the same as the E-Ray kit. The ninth is the diffuser, and it is the whole reason the two are not interchangeable: FRL-C8ZRD is cut for the center-exit exhaust layout and will not sit on a corner-exit car. If you are comparing the two kits, that single part is the entire difference.

Why Dry Carbon, and Where It Shows on This Kit

Dry carbon begins with pre-preg cloth, which arrives with the resin already worked through the weave at a fixed ratio. Nothing is brushed on at the bench. The stack then cures under heat and pressure in an autoclave, pressing the plies together and driving out the trapped air that later surfaces as pinholes or cloudy patches. Wet processes introduce the resin at the mold instead, so the ratio is set by hand, part by part.

On this kit it shows first at the back. The center-exit diffuser sits in the exhaust stream rather than beside it, and a laminate carrying voids discolors around a hot cutout. Every one of these nine pieces is cured the same way, in the finish you choose.
