Open the hood on an S650 and the radiator cover is the first part you see. From the factory it is painted plastic.
A full replacement for the factory cover, built from autoclaved 2x2 pre-preg dry carbon fiber and shaped around the factory mounting positions. Sometimes listed elsewhere as an engine panel trim.

Pre-preg carbon arrives with the resin already impregnated into the weave at a controlled ratio, so no resin is added by hand during layup — that is what makes it dry carbon. Curing it under heat and pressure in an autoclave consolidates the laminate and drives out trapped air that would otherwise show as flaws in the finished surface. Other processes introduce the resin at the mold, so the ratio is set during layup rather than before it.
An engine bay is a hot, bright, close-quarters environment, and this part gets looked at from eighteen inches away rather than across a parking lot. A cure that leaves no pinholes matters more at that distance than it does anywhere on the outside of the car.
