The Explorer's tailgate is a wide, flat panel, and nothing from the factory breaks it up.

Same Feral Auto design and the same mold as the carbon rear mid trunk wing, sitting on the mid-trunk face below the glass. Built from FRP and shipped primed, ready for your painter to match your factory color code.

Finishes the rear alongside the FRP Roof Spoiler, and both FRP Aero Bundle Kits include it — Sport and Track. Those kits are 2025-2027 only because of their front spoiler; this wing on its own fits 2020-2027.

Why FRP

On a tailgate, body color is usually the point. A wing sprayed to your code reads as a factory option someone specified when the vehicle was ordered, rather than an aftermarket part added later — and for a lot of ST owners that is exactly the look they are after.

The flat expanse of the tailgate is what makes it work. A body-color wing breaks that panel into proportions without introducing a second material into the rear view, so the tailgate still reads as one surface with a line across it.

It is also the part that gets handled. Every time the tailgate is opened, someone's hand is near this wing, and fingernails, rings and grocery bags all reach it. A painted surface can be polished and touched in; a damaged weave cannot.

Returns require our approval. Contact us within 5 days of receiving your item to request one. Approved returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee plus return shipping, and original shipping is non-refundable.

Items that have been installed, used or modified cannot be returned. Non-standard carbon finishes are non-returnable once the order has been placed.
