The ST gets a more aggressive rear valance than the rest of the Explorer line, but it is still molded plastic with the strakes painted in.

A Feral Auto design, not a copy of any Ford part, built from premium 2x2 twill carbon fiber and shaped to the Explorer's own rear bumper.

Finishes the rear alongside the Carbon Fiber Rear Mid Trunk Wing and Carbon Fiber Roof Spoiler.

This diffuser is included in both Carbon Fiber Aero Bundle Kits, Sport and Track. Those kits are 2025-2027 only because of their front-end parts, but the diffuser on its own fits 2020-2027. There is no FRP version of this part — it is made in carbon only, which is why the FRP Aero Bundle Kits do not contain one.

Why Carbon Fiber

Nothing else on the vehicle works in a worse environment. A diffuser sits low and directly behind the rear wheels, which puts it in the path of everything they throw backwards — stone chips, grit, road salt in winter — while exhaust heat works on it from above.

The strakes are what suffer first. Those vertical fins are the thinnest, most exposed feature on the part, and on molded plastic they are the detail that rounds off, dulls and starts to look tired while the rest of the panel still looks acceptable.

Here the weave is the finish rather than a color layer over something else, so chips that would show as a pale scar on painted plastic do not expose a different material underneath.

Returns require our approval. Contact us within 5 days of receiving your item to request one. Approved returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee plus return shipping, and original shipping is non-refundable.

Items that have been installed, used or modified cannot be returned. Non-standard carbon finishes are non-returnable once the order has been placed.
