Dodge gave the Durango a roofline that runs long and flat to the rear hatch. The factory spoiler at the top of the glass is a short painted-plastic lip that stops well short of what the rest of the truck is saying.

Pre-preg carbon arrives with the resin already impregnated into the weave at a controlled ratio, so no resin is added by hand during layup — that is what makes it dry carbon. Curing it under heat and pressure in an autoclave consolidates the laminate and drives out trapped air that would otherwise show as flaws in the finished surface. Other processes introduce the resin at the mold, so the ratio is set during layup rather than before it.
A roof spoiler sits at the highest point on the vehicle with nothing above it for shade. UV exposure and heat cycling are what eventually chalk a painted plastic spoiler, and here the weave is the finish itself rather than a color layer over something else.
