Five parts change the Durango from every angle. Bought one at a time that is five orders across a year, and five separate production runs that will not match each other.
Ordered together they are built and finished in one run, so the weave direction and the gloss level match piece to piece. On a five-finish part that matters more than usual — a red-tinted piece from one run beside a red-tinted piece from another is the one mismatch you cannot talk yourself out of.
Ordered as a kit these cost less than buying them one at a time, and every finish upgrade costs less inside the kit than outside it.
Pre-preg carbon arrives with the resin already impregnated into the weave at a controlled ratio, so no resin is added by hand during layup — that is what makes it dry carbon. Curing it under heat and pressure in an autoclave consolidates the laminate and drives out trapped air that would otherwise show as flaws in the finished surface. Other processes introduce the resin at the mold, so the ratio is set during layup rather than before it.
All five pieces are laid up and cured the same way, in the same run. That is what makes a five-piece order read as one set on the vehicle rather than five separate purchases that happen to be on the same truck.
Please note: Matte, Red, Blue, and Forged Carbon finishes are non-refundable once production has started. The finish you choose applies to all five pieces.
The kit's fitment is set by the Track front spoiler and roof spoiler. The side skirts, rear diffuser and rear mid trunk wing fit earlier Durangos and can be ordered individually.
