The factory rear bumper corners on the G87 M2 are plain painted plastic.

These replace the factory corners with an OEM+ carbon fiber insert built to the factory shape, using a pre-preg process with 2x2 twill dry carbon fiber cloth for a denser, more consistent panel than wet-layup alternatives. Sold as a matched pair — left and right, with 3M adhesive tape pre-applied for installation.
