The Dark Horse wing is the shape everyone wants on the back of an S650. The Dark Horse wears it in painted body color; on a GT or EcoBoost it isn't there at all.
Feral Auto's take on that silhouette in premium 3K 2x2 twill carbon fiber, with more surface area than the factory piece. It replaces the factory wing outright rather than sitting on top of it, and is finished with a UV-inhibiting gel coat, polished to a high-luster surface.
Closes the car alongside the Carbon Fiber Side Skirt Extensions and a Track Front Spoiler — all six exterior pieces come together in the Carbon Exterior Bundle Kit.
Coupe only. Does not fit convertible Mustangs or cars ordered with the spoiler-delete option. EcoBoost models require the OEM GT or Dark Horse spoiler module already installed to mount this piece; that module is not included.
Carbon fiber earns its place over factory painted composite on three counts. It holds a crisp edge where plastic softens and rounds off. It resists flex across a long span. And the weave is the finish itself rather than a coating applied over it, so a chip doesn't expose a different color underneath.
A rear wing spans the full width of the decklid on two pedestals, with nothing supporting the middle. That span is why wing material matters more than it does on a part bolted flat to bodywork.
