The Raptor R is Ford's most extreme half-ton — a supercharged 5.2L V8 under the widest body Ford puts on an F-150. Its hood vent is a different, three-piece arrangement from the standard Raptor's, and all three pieces leave the factory as painted plastic. This is Feral Auto's OEM+ carbon replacement for the complete set.
Built from autoclaved 2x2 pre-preg dry carbon fiber, these three panels are direct OEM replacements for the factory pieces: same hood opening, same mounting points, same hardware. Finished with a polished automotive-grade clear coat with UV inhibitors built for constant, direct sun, and produced together in one run so all three pieces match across the hood.
Pairs with the Carbon Fiber Fender Vents, which fit the Raptor R as well.
Pre-preg carbon arrives with the resin already impregnated into the weave at a controlled ratio, so no resin is added by hand during layup — that is what makes it dry carbon. Curing it under heat and pressure in an autoclave consolidates the laminate and drives out trapped air that would otherwise show as flaws in the finished surface. Wet layup and vacuum infusion add resin at the mold, and the result varies with whoever laid it.
A three-piece set raises the stakes on consistency. Three separate panels sitting inches apart on the most looked-at surface of the truck will show any drift in weave angle or gloss level immediately. Autoclave curing produces a repeatable result piece to piece, and all three are finished and packaged together so the set leaves as a set.

These are direct replacements, not modifications. All three pieces fit the factory hood opening on your existing hardware — nothing to drill, nothing to cut, nothing permanent. No additional hardware is included, and none is required.
We recommend professional installation. Minor adjustments during fitment are a normal part of installing any carbon fiber body component and are not an indication of a defect. Carbon fiber parts are finished by hand, so slight variations in weave alignment and clear coat between individual pieces are normal.
