The rear bumper corners on the G87 are plain painted plastic, and they sit directly in line with the rear wheels where every stone the tire throws lands.
A direct replacement for the factory corner pieces, built to the factory shape from autoclaved 2x2 pre-preg dry carbon fiber. Sold as a matched pair, left and right, finished together so the weave and gloss match side to side. Adhesive tape comes pre-applied.

Pre-preg carbon arrives with the resin already impregnated into the weave at a controlled ratio, so no resin is added by hand during layup — that is what makes it dry carbon. Curing it under heat and pressure in an autoclave consolidates the laminate and drives out trapped air that would otherwise show as flaws in the finished surface. Other processes introduce the resin at the mold, so the ratio is set during layup rather than before it.
These pieces sit low and directly behind the rear tires, in the path of road grit and salt spray. On a painted plastic corner that combination eventually shows as chipping; here the weave is the finish itself rather than a color layer over something else.
