2023-2027 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Carbon Fiber Quarter Panel Door Handle/Side Scoop (Z06, E-Ray, Grand Sport)

The C8's quarter panel door handle doubles as the side scoop feeding the engine — one of the most distinctive details on the Z06, E-Ray, and Grand Sport, and one of the few places carbon reads as functional rather than decorative.

This is a direct replacement, not a modification. The scoops mount to the factory quarter panel locations using your existing hardware — nothing to drill, nothing to cut, nothing permanent. No additional hardware is included, and none is required.

Built from autoclaved 2x2 pre-preg dry carbon fiber and sold as a pair, driver and passenger side, finished together so the weave matches across the car.

Runs with the Carbon Fiber Side Skirts down the flanks, and is included in the Carbon Fiber Exterior Kit.

Why Autoclave Pre-Preg Dry Carbon Fiber

Pre-preg carbon arrives with the resin already impregnated into the weave at a controlled ratio, so no resin is added by hand during layup — that is what makes it dry carbon. Curing it under heat and pressure in an autoclave consolidates the laminate and drives out trapped air that would otherwise show as flaws in the finished surface. Other processes introduce the resin at the mold, so the ratio is set during layup rather than before it.

This part sits right where hands, door edges and shopping bags find it. A deep compound scoop shape is also the kind of geometry where a hand-laid part shows every inconsistency in the laminate at the transitions.

• Gloss (Standard) — our standard high-gloss 2x2 twill weave
• Matte Carbon — same weave, low-sheen matte finish
• Red Carbon — red-tinted carbon weave
• Blue Carbon — blue-tinted carbon weave
• Forged Carbon — marbled, high-strength forged carbon pattern
