2023-2027 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Carbon Fiber Z07 Dive Planes (Z06, E-Ray, Grand Sport)

The Z07 track package adds a set of dive planes at the front bumper corners — the single clearest visual signal that a wide-body C8 is set up for the track.

Built from autoclaved 2x2 pre-preg dry carbon fiber and sold as a pair, left and right, finished together so the weave matches side to side. These are designed around the factory Z07 mounting points; a standard front bumper may require modification to fit.

Sharpens the front end alongside the Carbon Fiber Front Spoiler and Carbon Fiber Front Grille Inserts. The Carbon Fiber Rear Low Wing carries the same track-package look to the rear.

Why Autoclave Pre-Preg Dry Carbon Fiber

Pre-preg carbon arrives with the resin already impregnated into the weave at a controlled ratio, so no resin is added by hand during layup — that is what makes it dry carbon. Curing it under heat and pressure in an autoclave consolidates the laminate and drives out trapped air that would otherwise show as flaws in the finished surface. Other processes introduce the resin at the mold, so the ratio is set during layup rather than before it.

A dive plane is a thin blade cantilevered off the bumper corner with nothing supporting its outer edge. There is nowhere for a flexible part to hide on a shape like this, and the leading edge is the first thing anyone looks at.

• Forged Carbon — marbled, high-strength forged carbon pattern
